What’s new with Plus — October 2022

Here’s what we've shipped recently! Smart capture, new user experience, better embeds, and more!

Here’s what we’ve been up to this month at Plus.

New feature: 🪄 Smart capture

Now available on the most popular apps and sites. One-click capture for the most common charts and content. Smart capture also results in more accurate Snapshot refreshes over time, even when the site changes.

Try it now on Google Analytics, Salesforce, Mixpanel, and more. See the complete list here. We’re constantly adding support for more sites, too, so let us know what sites you’d like to see.

Feature: ✨ Guided new user experience

If you want to check it out, or just need a refresher, launch it at any time by clicking on "Getting Started" in the web app

Feature: 🖼️ Redesigned embeds

New design of Plus embeds in Notion

We've redesigned embeds so they're less obtrusive and more useful. Now you can also click on an embed to go directly to the Snapshot source if you want to “double click” on a data point.

Try it now by embedding a Snapshot in Notion, Coda, or other apps.

What else is new?

  • We’ve continued to improve Snapshot accuracy, like how fonts are displayed and making sure content is loaded properly. We’ve also made it easier for you to detect Snapshot issues and fix them
  • The web app now automatically updates when new content is created or updated, like when you take or refresh a Snapshot.
  • You can also now select multiple Snapshots and refresh them at once.

In case you missed it

We made a new demo video to help spread the word about Plus. Help us share it with anyone you know who might want early access.

We have a recurring series called What the Plus!? where we use Plus to keep an eye on and make sense of the broader world. Lately, we looked at the real estate market and the startup funding landscape.
